In the heart of Primrose Hill, an all-white rental townhouse needed to be infused with personality and warmth for a busy family of five. Colour and texture are the main tools for setting the atmosphere. The palette developed, carries soothing base tones that nod to nature, throughout the house - greens, plaster pinks and moody blue-greys.
A mix of esoteric, contemporary classic and vintage furniture, lighting and art, was sourced and curated to sit comfortably with the clients' existing belongings. Textiles play a lead role and include a striking Tulu rug from Istanbul, an antique Swedish flatweave and several contemporary quilts hung on walls.
With thanks to Olivia Fiddes, Caroline Gray and Frost for loaning ceramics.
